The Social Science Research Commons invites requests for funding to support research that uses the resources of the Indiana Federal Statistical Research Data Center. Requests can be made for funds to pay for charges associated with using RDC data. We expect that typical requests will be for $500 - $3,000.
Deadline: FSRDC grant applications are accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis.
*Please note that researchers may submit requests for funding prior to receiving project approval from the appropriate federal entity, but will be required to provide documentation of project approval before funds will be disbursed.
All IU faculty, and graduate students (with faculty sponsor) are eligible for funding. Researchers with multiple FSRDC projects are encouraged to submit an application for each project.
Submit the following materials to ssrc@iu.edu:
Funding recipients must submit a brief 1-2 page report of the outcomes of the grant within 3 months of the end of the project period. Reports should address grant and fellowship proposals submitted or awards received as a result of the funded research, publications/presentations, and/or how the project advanced the recipient’s research agenda.
