Jesse Talley is a Study Director and the Research Lab Manager at the Center for Survey Research (CSR). His interests focus on use of multimodal designs, especially involving telephone, and evaluation of survey components to increase response. He holds a Master of Public Affairs from the School of Environmental and Public Affairs at Indiana University where he concentrated on public policy analysis and the development of decision support systems. Stacey Giroux

Stacey Giroux is an Assistant Research Scientist at the Center for Survey Research (CSR) and The Ostrom Workshop. She holds a Ph.D. in anthropology from the University of Florida, with an emphasis in research methods. She has a wide range of experience developing and carrying out research projects that use both qualitative and quantitative methods. Her research interests include mixed methods research, survey nonresponse, social network analysis, food security, food habits, and obesity. John Kennedy

John M. Kennedy is the senior research director of the Indiana University Center for Survey Research. He directed the Center from 1987 through 2011. He is also an adjunct professor of sociology and teaches a graduate class in survey design. Dr. Kennedy chairs the Indiana University Bloomington Human Subjects Committee and has served on numerous NIH review panels on the ethics of human research. He is the founding editor of Survey Practice sponsored by the American Association for Public Opinion Research. Erica Moore

Erica Moore is Associate Director of the Research Data Management Services Unit, within the Center for Survey Research (CSR), which manages mail surveys, scanning, survey testing, and process improvement for the Center. She also serves as a Study Director for CSR and has 14 years of survey research experience working with a wide-range of clients in the areas of philanthropy, public health, higher education, technology, and science. Erica is interested in questionnaire design and research involving experiments with recruitment materials. She also enjoys improving processes and training methods. Lilian Yahng

Lilian Yahng is the Director of R&D and Research Lab at the Center for Survey Research (CSR) and has extensive experience designing survey research projects for both academic and non-academic clients. Erin Ables is a Study Director at the Center for Survey Research (CSR) and has over 14 years of experience in research management, statistical analysis, and survey design. She holds an MA in Psychological and Brain Sciences from Indiana University and a BA in Psychology from the University of Chicago. Erin has worked in a variety of fields, including public health, education, government, and psychology. Her research interests include quantitative methodology, mental health, and wellness. Reya Calistes

Reya Calistes leads the Research Project Management Services unit within the Center for Survey Research (CSR). In her role, she oversees the CSR study directors to deliver on CSR’s high quality standards in a cost-effective manner, whilst providing consultative leadership and guidance on research studies. Reya has 10 years of research and project management experience, specifically in institutional research and marketing research, and has worked with clients from different industries, including higher education, financial and insurance, and non-profit organizations. Her interests lie in social media-driven research, brand awareness and perception tracking, and predictive modeling and analysis using Big Data. Reya holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, an MS in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University, and a BA in Mathematics and Physics from Smith College. Ashley Clark

Ashley Clark is a senior research methodologist, clinical assistant professor in the School of Public and Environmental Affairs, and Director of the Center for Survey Research (CSR) who has been conducting surveys, qualitative research, and methodological studies for nearly 20 years. Ashley has experience directing and implementing proposal development and budgeting, sampling, questionnaire design, data collection, data processing, and data analysis for a wide range of surveys and has also developed and implemented focus group and qualitative data collection projects at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, University of Michigan, and Indiana University. She has a Master’s degree in survey methodology from the University of Maryland and is currently completing her PhD in survey methodology from the University of Michigan.
