John M. Kennedy is the senior research director of the Indiana University Center for Survey Research. He directed the Center from 1987 through 2011. He is also an adjunct professor of sociology and teaches a graduate class in survey design. Dr. Kennedy chairs the Indiana University Bloomington Human Subjects Committee and has served on numerous NIH review panels on the ethics of human research. He is the founding editor of Survey Practice sponsored by the American Association for Public Opinion Research. In 2012, he received the Achievement Award from the Association of Academic Survey Research Organizations.

Kathleen Lorenzen

Kathleen Lorenzen is a Study Director for the Center for Survey Research (CSR) with 8+ years of experience in survey studies, program evaluation, and project management, mostly with clients in the field of education. At CSR, Kathleen works as a member of the Research Project Management Services unit to develop research designs for the Center’s internal and external clients. Her research interests include education, health, and questionnaire design.

Erica Moore

Erica Moore is Associate Director of the Research Data Management Services Unit, within the Center for Survey Research (CSR), which manages mail surveys, scanning, survey testing, and process improvement for the Center. She also serves as a Study Director for CSR and has 14 years of survey research experience working with a wide-range of clients in the areas of philanthropy, public health, higher education, technology, and science. Erica is interested in questionnaire design and research involving experiments with recruitment materials. She also enjoys improving processes and training methods.

LeeAnn Sell

LeeAnn Sell is a Study Director at the Center for Survey Research (CSR). She has over 10 years of experience working on federally funded evaluation and technical assistance contracts and has contributed to research on a variety of K-12 topics. Most recently, she worked on an IU Grand Challenges survey focused on Hoosiers’ attitudes, values, and actions related to environmental change. Her interests include mixed-mode surveys and the tailored design method.

Lilian Yahng

Lilian Yahng is the Director of R&D and Research Lab at the Center for Survey Research (CSR) and has extensive experience designing survey research projects for both academic and non-academic clients. Her research interests include questionnaire design, sample design, reliability and validity of measures, multimodal design, and survey nonresponse and other error.
